My first attempt at homemade falafel. Decided to stuff it into a pita with micro greens and a yogurt sauce.

When you order a falafel sandwich or a shawarma sandwich it’s always stuffed in a pita. So YES. And looks fantastic.

I would say yes. If you took a kaiser roll, poked a hole, and hollowed it out, then you filled it with stuff, that would count as a sandwich. This use of a pita is the same concept, even if the geometry is significantly flatter.
