My first attempt at homemade falafel. Decided to stuff it into a pita with micro greens and a yogurt sauce.

It absolutely does. How did it go? I always have trouble with the falafel turning out too dry.

Stuff in between bread? I call sandwich.

Idt a pita is considered a sandwich but that also looks really good so exception made!

  4. When you order a falafel sandwich or a shawarma sandwich it’s always stuffed in a pita. So YES. And looks fantastic.

Ah yes. The famous egg and chicken… Hot dog a sandwich… And yes.. is a pita a sandwich. The right answer is no… With a maybe… Salted with confusion and deliciousness.

I would say yes. If you took a kaiser roll, poked a hole, and hollowed it out, then you filled it with stuff, that would count as a sandwich. This use of a pita is the same concept, even if the geometry is significantly flatter.

  7. If the Barney “Sandwich/Bread” song covers it, it counts

I’ll call a stuffed pita a sandwich before I call a hot dog a sandwich, looks absolutely delicious

For me it does count. How delicious it looks!

Only when placed between my hands…well, I’m waiting…

I say so. It’s the sandwich’s sexy cousin.
