Hell yes!

Weird way round to do it for me, I’m quite confident making nice chips but would never attempt battered fish or mushy peas

Interested to know why you didn’t just buy the fish from the chippy since you went there for the chips?

Nice!

Love the combo of chippy and homemade. Had 2 mates turn up just after getting back from buying it. Not enough chips but a quick enheatening of a can of vegetable chilli and some spices with spring onions and we’ve got 4 bowls of delicious filth and everyone is fed. Obviously cracked out the sliced bread for ‘cheap tacos’ blasphemy for those who needed

Chippy chips look great, all the chip shops.round my way just serve horrible bright yellow things.
Envious!

Excellent use of a GU pot

Marrowfat peas are the correct choice to add to that lovely looking creation. Garden peas are the devils work. Very nice looking.

Those pots off the desserts really come in handy 😂

Looks mint! I sometimes get a large steak pie from the butchers, hoof it in the oven then go down the chippy and get a couple large portions of chips and some mushy peas.

That looks really goooooooooood xx

Does the beer in the batter really make a difference? I’ve had it in restaurants but can’t say I noticed the flavour. Same with steak & ale pie, is it just marketing?
