Hi everyone. Today we’re making homemade buffalo cauliflower wings in the air fryer. These buffalo wings are one of our favorite recipes because they’re a delicious appetizer or snack that isn’t too hard to make. To make this recipe, you’ll need one medium sized head of cauliflower, 1 cup of allpurpose flour, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper or more to taste, 1 cup of milk, 1/3 of a cup of buffalo sauce, and 1 tbsp of melted butter. First, cut or rip the cauliflower into smaller fuettes. Try to get them roughly the same size to help with even cooking. When you’re done, you can rinse and dry the fuettes before moving on to the next step. In a large bowl, add the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Then, slowly add the milk while whisking. Keep whisking until there are no lumps in the batter. The mixture should have a pretty thick consistency, so don’t add any extra milk. Next, add the cauliflower fuettes into the bowl with the batter. Gently mix with a large spoon until the fuettes are all covered. Now, preheat the air fryer to 380° F or about 190° C. When the air fryer is hot, add as many battered cauliflower fuettes into the air fryer as you can fit without them touching. Sometimes we make them in one batch, sometimes two batches. Cook the battered cauliflower at 380° F for 8 to 10 minutes total or until the cauliflower is tender and the batter is cooked and crispy. Flip the fuettes approximately halfway through the cooking time. If you try flipping the wings and the batter sticks to the air fryer too much, cook them a minute or two longer first and then try flipping again. Keep in mind that the exact cooking time can vary depending on the size of the cauliflower fuettes and your air fryer. While you wait for the cauliflower to cook, whisk the buffalo sauce with the melted butter in a small bowl or dish and then set this mixture aside. When the battered cauliflower bites are done, remove them from the air fryer and place them in a bowl for now. Cook the second batch if you need to. Then add these ones to the bowl as well. With all the cooked cauliflower wings in a large bowl, drizzle the buffalo sauce on top and gently stir or toss until the cauliflower wings are evenly coated. Then serve them right away and enjoy as is or with a dipping sauce. And that’s it. You can find the written version of the instructions in the pinned comment below.
