My second sandwich awakening: Caffeys in Minneapolis (Lyn/Lake). open late, and delivers. We used to live in the delivery reasons for many years, many years ago. Back for our 10th anniversary.
Mine is the Blue Cow: steak and bacon with lettuce tomorrow, blue cheese crumbles and dressing. My wife got the veggie, sub mayo with hummus, extra onions, lettuce, picked red pepper and evoo/red wine vinegar.

Im heading up there when the Caps play the Wild. This is now on my list. Pickles galore is the sizzle but that sandwich is sale.
are the sandwiches inherently good? for sure. But they have had numerous food safety issues in the past, including serving lettuce with bugs in it, and the owner is a nutcase. it’s a real Sophie’s choice for me
