Tavola di Famiglia Osteria, located in Worthing and inspired by the Amalfi Coast, has partnered with social care charity Guild Care to support its services through an optional donation scheme.
Diners are currently invited to add a 75p donation to their bill, with all proceeds going directly to Guild Care.
Sam Haworth, co-owner of Tavola di Famiglia, said: “Tavola di Famiglia has always been about more than food – it’s about creating moments of togetherness and belonging.
“By working with Guild Care, and with the generous support of our guests, we can extend that sense of family beyond our restaurant walls and into the wider community.”
With customer consent, the 75p contribution will be added to each bill and donated in full to support Guild Care’s work.
The charity, which has served Worthing since 1933, provides essential services for people with learning disabilities, older adults, and those living with dementia.
Each year, Guild Care supports more than 3,000 people and their families.
Tavola di Famiglia Osteria is owned and operated by brothers Sam and Jamie, who are dedicated to bringing the flavours and hospitality of southern Italy to the Sussex coast.
Their restaurant is rooted in the values of community, connection and care.
The partnership offers a way for diners to make a small but meaningful contribution to a longstanding Worthing charity.
Guild Care has grown to become one of the town’s largest employers, with more than 550 staff and around 250 volunteers.
The charity’s vision is that ‘nobody should feel isolated,’ and every penny of its income is reinvested into its services.
Tavola di Famiglia said the scheme is a way to give back to the community that has supported them.
The restaurant said that while direct donations may not always be possible in the current economic climate, the optional scheme empowers guests to make a collective impact.
Guild Care’s services help reduce social isolation and stigma, offering compassion and practical support to some of the town’s most vulnerable residents.
Tavola di Famiglia hopes the partnership will strengthen connections within the community and raise awareness of Guild Care’s vital work.
By combining food, generosity, and shared values, the restaurant and charity aim to create a lasting impact—one meal at a time.
