The new Salt and Straw Flavor Has Crickets and Mealworms?
Is this for real, or a Halloween joke? Has anyone actually tried this flavor?

The allergens say “Milk, shellfish (insects)” so they’re serious. I’ve heard of crickets adding a nice crunch to things but I’m definitely passing on this one

It’s not really new, they always out this pour for Halloween. It’s actually decent.

No, they’ve had this one before. It was the only flavor I didn’t try at the time. The Essence of Ghost and The Great Candycopia are also returning (I’ve had both of those). I’ve also had their Dracula’s Blood Pudding (chocolate and pig’s blood, like blood pudding).
Edit to add: I forgot about this one, which was my actual favorite of the lot.

So many people around the world eat bugs lmao. Western society just doesn’t. It’s a nutty, crunchy flavor. If you can get past the mindset bugs are really delicious and a really good source of protein 🤗

Yeah, it’s basically just matcha flavor with chocolate crunch. I’m pretty sure the samples I tried over the years didn’t have the mealworm though
