This is the first time I’m using this machine. It’s a waring commercial ice cream maker that was given to me by a friend (long story). It’s basically a brand new machine.
I’ve turned it on to spin a batch of frozen yogurt and it’s got the most god awful high pitched whine. I can not figure out what’s going on. Bowl is in place. Plugged in properly. Compressor is doing its job.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Ice cream machine making insane high pitched noise. Why?

The sound seems digitally created as opposed to a motor/fan/compressor noise. From what I hear thru my phone, it sounds like a timer/button/alert noise. If that is the case it may be as easy as a button press to silence the alarm, or as difficult as a bad board.
Did you check the manual to see if different beeps/pitches mean anything?
Also, that paddle is spinning quite slow. But maybe has nothing to do with anything.
