Easy tips for growing food

turns up if you’ve ever planted seedlings out only to have them disappear overnight or be mysteriously chomped in half these and these are going to prevent you from crying when you plant these bring young seedlings with the lid end of spare bottles will help protect them while they’re young and the hole in the top allows a bit of air flow adding an alternate food source in and around the top of your soil is going to distract these suckers from munching your stems and giving your seedlings time to grow a little more robust giving you a better chance of harvesting your own food

  1. the isopods don’t munch the healthly living seedlings though, they’re detritivores. Now, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, and EaRWiGs (i hate them so much here in canada) will go after your fresh baby plants 100% of the time, Mourning doves have even been known to pull out my pepper seedlings here.
