I have tried scrubbing it with a green scrubbing pad but it doesn’t come off.

Use those plastic liners. I have no idea if that would help at all, but it pisses everyone in this sub off, so it would be funny.

If you need a good excuse to buy a new crockpot, then yes, absolutely comprehensive damage. Otherwise, no. Don’t worry about it at all. A few scratches do no harm.

The white stuff? You can try soaking it in vinegar if it really bothers you, but I don’t think you need to be worried about it.

it looks like you scraped the enamel with a metal implement. Its not damaged.

How to clean.
1) Take the crock pot out to your porch on a sunny Saturday where you can watch it. This will smell chemically which is why I recommend outside. Also it needs to be high enough off the grounds to keep pets from getting into it.

2) Fill 3/4 with water
3) Add a dishwasher pod
4) Cook on high for 6-8hours.
5) Unplug and cool before rinsing out.
Integrity? Mine has a crack in it.
