But outside the city in a minimal building in the middle of a rice fields. Actually situated adjacent to Chef Van’s sister’s BnB (we didn’t stay over but looked lovely).
Food was fantastic. We were the only diners in our seating so we were doted on pretty well. Chef was telling us after his time at his restaurant in Bangkok, which he described as pretty high tension, he kind of retreated from that setting to get back home a bit. This feeling felt like the underpinning for the whole experience.
The Jor Slaw was the best of the menu and one of the best dishes I’ve had in a very long time. Unreal bite and flavors, left quite the impression.

What a unique experience, thanks for sharing this. Can’t get over how tranquil the setting seems.
