Thank you for your picture post to r/souvide. We want to remind everyone of Rule #5. Posts should be accompanied by something to foster discussion. A comment, a question, etc is encouraged.
If you’ve posted a picture of something you’ve prepared, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn’t really fostering any discussion which is what we’re all aiming for.
Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.
Thank you!!

Just picked this up and it seems to work really good. Does anyone have this model? If so how has it worked for you?

I have a more basic model that’s been going strong for about 8 years.

Had the same exact thing happen a few weeks ago and got one for $8 at goodwill! Which is exactly why I ended up buying a sous vide cooker!

Foodsaver makes a good product. I have an old one that has served me well for over 15 years without a problem. I use it for fish, game (deer, turkey), steaks etc. They last and are reliable. I am actually looking at using some Cabelas points to get a Pro vacuum sealer next. You got a good deal and congrats.

Yep, I have had that model for over a decade. Still works great. Nice find!

I have a lower end model, and it works great. I also have the jar attachment that works really well.

I have this same model. It works great, but every once in awhile, if the bag isn’t lined up perfectly, it won’t suction out the air properly. I have to cancel it then readjust the bag and try again.
