I much rather prefer to make my own wings than anything I can buy in a restaurant.
I like to double fry to get them nice and super crisp so the skin doesn't get soft once you sauce them.

I agree. With the price nor a days….I buy on sale, freeze and cook for a 1/4 of the price. Sauce is easy, there tons of recipes available.

Agree. My favorite wings are MY wings. It happened sometime in the last couple of years of getting good at it. It was an odd moment.

I prefer to eat my own wings when I take the effort to really do them properly (read: Deep Fry). However getting them while out and about is much easier and less time consuming.

I also love my own wings but there’s 1 or 2 spots by me that just make them so damn good and I cant seem to recreate how they do them. That being said I mainly eat my wings nowadays simply due to cost. Most places are damn near $2-$3 a wing which is bonkers.

Amen. Wings are a near-weekly event at my house. Super hot homemade sauce, double fried wings, fresh cut fries and carrots and homebrewed beer on tap. And did I mention they are HOT?

And then you start playing with the sauce a bit, franks and butter but this time you add some fresh cracked pepper. Then you do that and add some garlic and onion powder, then a squirt of ketchup, then some ghost sauce (just a couple dabs at first, don’t want to get crazy) and suddenly everyone’s over at your house for wings
