Put garlic, tomatoes, onion, and jalapeno under the broiler for a bit and then ground it all up with some salt.

Needed more heat, but I played it safe for the first try.

Here is the recipe (honestly I’d do it differently next time):

    – Take 3 Roma tomatoes, 4 cloves of garlic, 1 jalapeño, and 1/4 white onion and put in the broiler for ~6 minute.

    – flip veggies and put back in for another 6 minutes

    – Put garlic and jalapeno in molcajete with some salt and grind up to a paste

    – add onion and grind up

    – add tomatoes and grind up

Try making guacamole with it. Even if the avocado isn’t super ripe the texture of the molcajete will help make the guacamole smooth and creamy.

  3. How was cleaning? I heard it’s a pain in the ass with these.
