I'm sure most of us here know that the Mediterranean diet is really good for heart health. But there are so many other ways the Mediterranean diet can benefit your health. Over the last few weeks alone six studies have been published that have found that the Mediterranean diet:

* Reduces dementia risk

* Reduces type 2 diabetes risk

* Helps prevent chronic constipation

* Helps keep bones strong during weight loss

* Helps reduce gum disease

* Improves psoriasis severity

    There are many studies on this diet, some supportive, some inconclusive.  You should link the doi instead of news reports.

    i always feel like i must be doing this diet wrong because although it feels emotionally great to know i’m eating whole foods & stocking up on my veggies, seeds & fruits, i feel like i haven’t actually gotten any ‘health’ benefits from it lol 😵‍💫
