Hi! In August we hosted a “Champagne and Chicken” dinner in Bangkok, Thailand at one of the most famous Michelin Guide fried chicken spots in the city for 40 guests. We started Uncorked Wine Club in Bangkok to host these unconventional wine events. We closed out the restaurant for a night and set up the tables for an intimate but chaotic vibe. We collaborated with a top champagne importer from Thailand and served four grower champagnes which were all delicious. The Coutier was very toasty and full while the Eloquence was bright and zippy. The Montagne was definitely the most elegant and balanced style.

  • RH Coutier Tradition Grand Cru
  • JL Vergnon Eloquence Blanc de Blancs
  • JL Vergnon Rosemotion
  • Les Monts Fournois Montagne Magnum 2014

The event went really well and the magnum was the overwhelming favorite. We also hosted a suckling pig and burgundy night last week in Chinatown. I will post about that in a bit. Pics are below and feel free to follow us on our instagram to see what we are up to next. Thanks!

Has been a while since I was this jealous.

Champagne, fried chicken and caviar is an underrated combo. And if anyone want to disagree, you can find me on my hill, willing to die (figuratively, I got way more champagne and chicken to eat first).
