Enjoy a Taste of Italy Complete With Café Tables, Italian Drinks, and Fresh Slices From Porta’s Pizza Truck
To celebrate National Pizza Month and the launch of its new Sweet & Spicy Soppressata pizza, Italian-inspired brand PORTA is hitting the road this October with a two-day Pizza Truck Pop-Up Tour across Los Angeles.
The mobile pop-up will turn local grocery store parking lots into a slice of Italy, complete with café tables, bistro chairs, and complimentary pizza tastings. Guests can enjoy samples of the new Sweet & Spicy Soppressata alongside other PORTA favorites while sipping Italian beverages in an open-air piazza setting.
The celebration kicks off Saturday, Oct. 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Whole Foods Market in West Hollywood (7871 Santa Monica Blvd.), followed by a second stop Sunday, Oct. 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sprouts Farmers Market in Culver City (8985 Venice Blvd., Suite B).
PORTA, whose name means “door” or “carry” in Italian, aims to deliver restaurant-quality flavor and authenticity in every frozen pizza. The company says its mission is to “bring a taste of Italy to your table,” combining traditional recipes with premium ingredients and wood-fired preparation.
The new Sweet & Spicy Soppressata pizza, now available nationwide at Whole Foods Market, balances savory cured meat with a hint of heat, joining PORTA’s lineup of handcrafted frozen pizzas that mirror the taste and texture of artisanal Italian pies.
With its latest flavor and interactive pop-up events, PORTA hopes to give Angelenos a chance to experience a “doorway to Italy”, one slice at a time.
