I'm a sucker for pumpkin ice cream so I had to try this flavor, part of their Halloween series of the month. It's really good! Has a deep squashy flavor. Also has deep cinnamon and brown sugar notes, very accurate to pumpkin bread rather than straight pumpkin spice or pie. Has some stripes of cream cheese frosting, but the frosting is very subtle.

Salt and Straw is 100% for flavors, and the ice cream quality is high, too. And, thankfully, not everything is cloyingly sweet.
Sort of like what Jeni’s would be if Jeni’s were better.

I loved this Salt and Straw flavor! It tasted a lot more like a pumpkin pie to me, but it was quite tasty.
Love Salt and Straw!! So excited to try their October flavors, the nearest to me is a little ways away so I’ve got to make the time but always worth it lol.
I’ve never heard of this but definitely will be on the lookout.
