On West 8th there used to be a little spot called Pane Pasta that sold their arancini over the counter, and it was one of the best I've had here. By the Marcy Ave station is a pizzeria called Sabrina's that has very good arancini. Faicco's also has a version, but it's way too salty for my taste.
Where are some good casual places around the city for arancini? I don't mean a sit-down restaurant—I'm sure there are plenty of those—I mean a spot where you walk in and buy it from a counter. I prefer the big baseball-sized ones, or the conical ones which seem even harder to find.
