Does anybody use this pasta and if you do, how does it taste in comparison to regular pasta?

Get it! It literally tastes like regular pasta. Search the sub for posts about this, I am sure you will find that people love it.

I love it tbh. One thing to know though, unless you love you pasta VERY VERY al dente, you need to almost double the cooking time.

Yeah I agree that it needs extra cooking but I love this pasta

I’m pretty picky about alternative low cal foods but this is a good one! Very hard to tell a difference, if any at all!

Haha 🙂 I do like the name, at least.

10/10 it’s pretty much all we cook with now unless we’re looking for a noodle shape they don’t have (bucatini mostly) It doesn’t turn to mush if you “over cook” it, but I’ve never been able to over cook it, even when using in baked pasta dishes. It’s $$$ so I try to find it on sale.

I love this stuff. I give it like 15-18 minutes to cook depending on the shape, though, so be prepared for long cooking times.

I love it so much. Pasta with red sauce and ricotta is my comfort meal and eating an actual 2oz portion is soul-crushing (I’d like the whole box please). But 5oz of Carbe Diem with sauce and ricotta keeps me full all night and stays around ~500 calories. Yes, please! I go through like 6 boxes/month.

I eat it every week to lose weight, im sick of it but it does the trick.

We like it in my house, but my husband and I both think the Fiber Gourmet brand is closer to the real thing. Carbe Diem has a bigger range of shapes though which I appreciate! I can eat Fiber Gourmet happily, but with Carbe Diem, I prefer to mix like 20% of real pasta in the same shape in to make it a bit better texture wise.

I have added this as a regular grocery item from Amazon. They do the 3 boxes for 15 and it tastes like regular pasta. Like someone else mentioned, may need to cook it a little longer. My husband is picky and he also loves it, says it tastes like regular pasta and I do not get a messed up stomach or anything!

It tastes like the cheap grocery store brand pasta. It’s a step down from the higher end brands but for half the calories it’s worth it
