Got 4 packs from a cold warehouse I work at, was assured by boss that they're still good as they've been frozen the entire time. No signs of freezer burn as far as I can tell. Never had venison before.

Make sure you cook them to medium rare at the most. Venison is gross when overcooked. My favorite way is in a hot cast-iron skillet, about 1 – 1 1/2 minutes a side, lots of butter, just salt and pepper. Mmmmmm.
