Here’s a list of notable openings we’ve clocked in the Seattle area in the last month. If we missed something, please email us: seattle@eater.com.

FISHERMAN’S TERMINAL — The highly anticipated restaurant from the Pacleb brothers, Pidgin Cooperative, is now in its soft-opening phase, serving a variety of Asian-diaspora-meets-Pacific-Northwest ingredients dishes. (Try the kimchi! It’s vegan!) For now, it’s open for lunch only.

UNIVERSITY DISTRICT — After a brief closure, hallowed off-campus basement hangout the College Inn Pub is back! The University of Washington’s student paper, the Daily, reports that it is now owned by Jae Chang, who also owns the boba shop upstairs. There’s a limited food menu for the time being as the bar reboots.

CAPITOL HILL — Speaking of comebacks, Bar Cantinetta, part of the Cantinetta family of Italian restaurants, is open on 15th Avenue East, in the Capitol Hilltop mixed-used development, reports Capitol Hill Seattle Blog. The restaurant was previously in Madison Valley before closing in 2023.

MAPLE LEAF — Speaking of relocations, neighborhood Caribbean favorite Mojito has moved — only a short distance, however. The restaurant is now at 8511 Roosevelt Way, across the street from Maple Leaf Reservoir Park.

UNIVERSITY VILLAGE — DeLille En Ville, a French restaurant and wine shop from Woodinville winery DeLille Cellars, just opened in University Village. It’s aiming to be a bit of a destination restaurant at the swanky outdoor mall, with an opening menu that includes dishes like grilled quail and magret of duck, a.k.a. duck breast cooked medium rare.

WEST SEATTLE — Time for the pizza portion of this list. First up, In Pizza We Crust, a wood-fired pizzeria that was previously a food truck, has now put down roots as a brick-and-mortar at West Seattle’s Admiral Junction.

RAINIER VALLEY — Down south, an extremely hyped New York–style spot called A.K. Pizza has opened. It’s still in soft-open mode and supplies of pies are limited, so be prepared to order days in advance if you want to see what’s going on here.

EASTLAKE — Yet more pizza: Wood-fired standby Mioposto has opened its sixth location at Eastlake Avenue and Louisa Street. (Its Ravenna location is still closed after a car crashed into it over the summer.)

CAPITOL HILL — A new Palestian-owned Levant-inspired coffee shop has opened inside the former Bauhaus space on Harvard Avenue, reports Capitol Hill Seattle Blog. Called Mintish, it serves typical cafe fare with some regional twists, like pistachio lattes and za’atar grilled cheeses.

CAPITOL HILL — Not far away on Pike Street, another cafe has opened, this one with Persian notes. Open Form is now open Wednesdays through Sundays and offers an Iran-inspired tea service and traditional Persian sweets.

WEST SEATTLE — A new East African takeout spot called Ku Mana’s Authentic Burundian Cuisine has opened at 4611 36th Avenue Southwest. It specializes in Burundian cuisine and features stews plus multiple kinds of fufu.

WALLINGFORD — Is Wallingford Seattle’s Central Asian district? Just down the street from long-running Afghan restaurant Kabul there’s now Caravan, which specializes in Uzbek plov, the national dish of Uzbekistan, a one-pot rice-based affair with slow-cooked lamb and vegetables.

PIONEER SQURE — A retro, ‘80s-’90s pizzeria called DeLeo Bros Pizza, a Minnesota chain, has opened a Seattle location in Occidental Park. There’s a soda fountain with the good ice (you know what I’m talking about) and pinball machines.

WALLINGFORD — Occhi Belli is an Italian wine bar that opened in the old Chile Pepper space on 45th Avenue North… and it shares a name with the owner’s novel? Now that’s cross-promotion.

MADISON VALLEY — Skillet and Vine Bistro has taken over the former Kamp space and is serving a menu of mostly traditional American food, straddling the line between diner and steakhouse.

RAINIER AVENUE — We’re not sure what neighborhood this is (Google Maps says it’s something called “Atlantic”) but Oh Yeah Banh Mi is open at 2101 South Grand Street, not far away from I-90, serving (duh) banh mi and other Vietnamese dishes.

INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT — More Vietnamese: Bò Né House & More has opened in Little Saigon on Jackson. As the name implies, it specializes in bo ne, the Vietnamese dish of steak and eggs served in a hot pan, usually paired with baguette.

ROOSEVELT — One more Vietnamese place: PaPa Kitchen has taken over the former Ong Lam Bistro space, offering a similar menu of typical Vietnamese dishes, though PaPa has a pretty long vegan menu.

BALLARD — There’s a new affordable sushi place in Ballard called Sushi Licious that also serves deep-fried Oreos.

RENTON — Does the Seattle area have any Indian sports bars? It definitely has one now that Renton’s Bindaas Indian Restaurant Sports Bar & Dukaan is here. It has a full halal food menu, plus beer and cocktails.

BELLTOWN — Another Indian bar opened across the street from the Olympic Sculpture Park: Indnon Café & Bistro is serving cocktails alongside Indian and Lebanese tapas; its executive chef, Abhijit Sarkar, previously ran the kitchen at Mint Progressive Indian.

CAPITOL HILL — The Inn at Virginia Mason is a hotel that used to be a building called the Rhododendron Apartments; that history is nodded to with the name of the hotel’s new restaurant, the Rho Café, which serves pastries in the morning, and sandwiches and flatbreads for lunch and dinner.

EASTLAKE — Babe wake up there’s a new sandwich shop: Otherside Market & Deli serves a big menu of hot and cold sandwiches, all for under $15, which qualifies as a deal these days.

EASTLAKE — Near Otherside is Cicchetti Kitchen & Bar, a wood-fired joint which according to the Seattle Times has reopened its dining room after a pandemic pivot to catering.

BELLTOWN — Is it just us or are there kind of a lot of crawfish places these days? Add one more to the list: Mama’s Crawfish and Seafood House, near the Crocodile.

PIONEER SQUARE — Finally, Biryani and Curry King, and Indochinese joint, is serving classic dishes for takeout and dine-in.
