As shown in the first image, is it possible to have only 48 calories when there are 40g of sugar? For context, these are hawthorn bars.

This also sparked another question, how likely/often are these nutrition info inaccurate?

40g sugar is 155 cals so no chance. How does it also have 0% of anything else? Is this a small company who makes them??

No there must be an error in the nutrition label. It is possible that it is only sugar, but 1g of carbs has 4 calories, so if it is 50g of carbs per serving, that would be 200 calories
