Bacco Pizzeria & Wine Bar has arrived in Hershey.
Owners Max and Maria Randazzo recently opened the restaurant at 131 W. Chocolate Ave. in the former Iron Valley Realty Company at Hershey Towne Square.
The couple own Bacco locations in Harrisburg and Hampden Township. This summer, they closed a Bacco that had operated in Lower Allen Township for less than a year.
Their latest establishment mirrors the other restaurants, but with a smaller menu focused on brick-oven pizza, small plates, salads and a full bar.
“I wanted to be in Hershey to get the name recognition for Bacco. I wanted to expand the name,” Max Randazzo said.

The former real estate office was renovated into the 40-seat cafe with a modern vibe including chandeliers. The gas-fueled brick oven was imported from Sicily and fires up to 750-degrees.
Pizzas are the star of the menu. Max Randazzo said they use finely ground double zero flour without bromine, creating soft, airy crusts.
Pizzas include margherita; a di parma with prosciutto, crushed tomato, arugula and mozzarella; funghi with mushrooms and a bechamel sauce; and gambero with shrimp, plum tomato sauce, mozzarella and red pepper flakes.
Small plates feature tuna tartare, burrata caprese, beef carpaccio and eggplant rollette while main entrees include lobster ravioli, braised beef ravioli and Mediterranean bronzino.
The restaurant also serves Bacco’s private label wine along with wine, beer and spirits.
House wines are made at the Bacco’s Hampden Township restaurant.
Max Randazzo said his wife’s family including her grandfather used to make wine in Sicily, a tradition the family brought with them to the United States. The Randazzos bottle the wine at the restaurant and sell it by the glass and bottle.
Bacco is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
