Never grown tomatoes before so tried it out for the first time. Grabbed a starter plant (Husky Red, dwarf, indeterminant) and did my best to water, feed, and control disease/pests. I’m pretty happy with the overall experience. I was surprised by the yield from this one little plant. I live in Zone 12a so I’m hoping it will keep producing for me indefinitely.

You grow the most easy festival there is to grow. Congratulations now grow something that’s harder.

Husky Reds are super reliable! I grew one last year and was amazed at how much fruit it pumped out for such a compact plant. As long as you keep it healthy, you’ll be swimming in tomatoes for a while. Nice work!

Congrats on a successful first year! Husky is very disease resistant which makes it a reliable producer. You have many salads, sandwiches, salsas, and sauces in your future.
