Boiled all the scrappy bits of some cabbage, onion, carrot, potato, celery and garlic to make a stock. Brought to a boil then simmered for about an hour.
Strained the veg out then blended it all to make a puree. Set aside.
Sauteed onion, celery, carrot, cubed chicken breast, and white mushroom in olive oil on low heat til onions were translucent and chicken beginning to brown.
Added stock and puree with a bit of water. Seasoned with chicken bouillon, Italian seasoning, msg, pepper, salt, thyme, paprika, and a wee bit of sugar, cayenne, and abodo.
Let it simmer for another hour, added more chopped carrot, celery, and potato.
Cooked some eggs noodles al dente on the side, then added to soup after it was done.
Not bad for being brownout drunk if I do say so myself.

Looks too gelatenous
There are two types of people in this world; those who like to drink water, and those who like to eat soup. I think it looks delicious. I always favor the thicker, creamy side of things…unless I’m at a hibachi and then I just want a gallon of chicken broth soup.
