Anchovies San Sebastian style by Olasagasti

Once you get past my antics….

What seems to be the little brother of their more known larger can, what is inside delivers the same gorgeous flavors we expect from a la Basque or Donostiarra. Anchovies fried with garlic and chili, packed in with olive oil and a little wine vinegar. This delivers depth and richness and tells your brain and tastebuds…. this is something special.
The oil… precious gold that demands to be used as it's packed with a ton of flavor.

You know when it’s got a hint of chili it’ll slap harder than a guy slapping a turtle that mistakenly smacked his butt while swimming by, as the guy wants the turtle to know he don’t swing that way.

Lovely fish! But if you’re saying they’re salty, they’re probably way too salty (and hot) for me! 🫤
