I have some sauces from Lost Capital, a hot sauce company that no longer exists. The best by date on these is about Dec ’23 on average.
These have to be some of the last sealed bottles in consumer possession, and I definitely own one of the only sealed bottles of “Calculated Risk” the collab with the semi-defunct 7 Pot Club anywhere. I don’t want to save them, you reckon they’re good to open and use maybe by the end of the year?

They should be fine as long as they’re unopened and have vinegar as a prominent ingredient.

These sauces were incredible. I was sad when I went to order more a couple years ago and found they had closed up shop.

I had a bottle of 357 in my fridge for about 12 years past the sell by. The heat slowly diminishes but that’s about it

They’ll be fine unless you stored them in direct sunlight. In any case you’ll know right away as soon as you smell them. I think you’re ok.

The brand name is too accurate.

They used to have a stand at the local farmers market. Great people and I wish it would have worked out.
