Charities are being given the chance to use a festive platform to highlight their work in Jersey.
The St Peter’s Christmas Tree Festival, which runs from 6 to 17 December, is returning to provide an opportunity for local charities to decorate a tree with ornaments relevant to its services, organisers said.
In 2024, the festival had 110 trees and more than 5,000 visitors which included schoolchildren and groups from residential homes.
Church rector the Reverend Robert Harris said the event had become “important” over the past couple of years.
Those entering a tree can use a real or artificial tree and have been asked to “give your imagination free rein” when decorating it.
“It is a bonus if the decoration reflects some aspect of the life and work of your charity or organisation,” organisers added.
