MONETA, VA. (WSET) — La Casa Toscana, a new Italian restaurant, has opened its doors in Moneta, bringing authentic flavors to the Smith Mountain Lake community.
The menu offers a variety of dishes, including pasta, steak, seafood, and chicken, ensuring there is something delicious for everyone.

Co-owner and chef Francisco Machado said, “We can do a private event or a romantic dinner outside in the dining room, so we can create something special for the guests, something different out of the menu. I love cooking. So, there’s some made me like my flavors. Like when I start cooking, all the flavors come into my mind, I try to put it together, like to have a delicious tasting in every single dish we make.
Machado is ready and excited for what the future holds.
“It is something new for me. So, I just, I just moved from Key West, Florida, so to open this new restaurant with my brother and brother-in-law. So, it’s like a new adventure. It’s something new for me and my life,” Machado said.
Located on 16483 Moneta Rd., the restaurant operates Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
