Can these really be the same cut (rib eye)?

    Left one seems like a grass fed ribeye, very lean. The right looks like a prime or wagyu breed strip

    Neither of those cuts look like the ribeyes one might see in the UK.

    Right one does not look like a ribeye to me. Left one is very lean, not appealing at all. Edit: now I saw both pictures and it sais entrecote. That is not a ribeye, it is another cut lol.
    Different breeds, different diets. Would eat the right one, medium rare please send your address.

    My initial thought was you have one ribeye and right side was NY strip. After looking more at cap, think they are both steaks off the primal rib cut, but steak set on right photo is cut off more anterior portion (towards shoulder) of the primal than the left. Definitely 2 different animals. Quality grade in left photo would be a select-at best. Be careful cooking that.
