ONALASKA — The 26th Annual Fall Gift and Craft Show wrapped up this afternoon at the Omni Center after a successful two-day run that brought together more than 100 local vendors and community members.

The event ran from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, offering families a free opportunity to browse vendors selling everything from handmade crafts and gifts to jewelry and clothing. The show provided an early start to holiday shopping while supporting local small businesses.

“A great time to come and support the community, a lot of our vendors are local small businesses, so just a great time to come and get the holiday shopping started,” said Justin Swartling, Omni Center Manager.

The craft show served a dual purpose beyond shopping, as organizers collected non-perishable food donations and monetary contributions for the Onalaska Regional Food Basket. This charitable component allowed attendees to support both local businesses and community members in need.

With over 100 vendors participating, the show offered variety for all family members, creating an inclusive shopping experience that catered to different interests and age groups. The free admission made the event accessible to families throughout the community.

The annual event has become a staple in the community calendar, marking its 26th year of bringing together local artisans, small business owners and shoppers in one venue. The combination of supporting local commerce while contributing to food assistance programs reflects the community-focused nature of the gathering.
