Some purple/black variety, but unless you have more info it would be hard for us to identify it exactly. Yes, they look ripe. With all tomatoes it’s better to tell by feel than by color. Feel one that you know is ripe, and one that you know is not, maybe with eyes closed. You’ll learn to tell quickly. These varieties never lose their green shoulders, though, so don’t wait for that!

They’re a black tomato (and there are many many varieties) and look ripe to me.

Could be black krim. Mine look exactly that way, the size suggests to me it’s not Cherokee

They look like the black krim tomatoes I grew this year. But there are multiple black varieties out there. Pretty tasty.

Those are “black” tomatoes, which are thus named because the flesh is both red and green, when they are ripe.
These appear to have yellow skins. Black tomatoes that have clear skins are often called purple.
Anyway, they look ripe. The best way to verify is by feel, as others have written. Unripe tomatoes are firmer, especially heirloom varieties. Typical supermarket varieties are designed to stay firm in storage, to allow for transport or holding until prices rise.
This is one of the most amazing things about home grown (or locally grown) produce. The varieties are designed for excellence: not profit.

Black tomatoes are my favorite favorite, squeeze test will tell you if they’re ripe… They have the most flavor out of any tomatoes
Cherokee Purple. I grow Black Krim and they don’t look like that. BK tends to be more green shouldered and not as round.
Yes, they appear ripe.
Maybe Black Prince. I have both these and Cherokee Purples. The Princes are smaller and perfectly round.
Look like my Cherokee purple 😁
They look more like our Black Krim than our Cherokee Purple. Our CP are redder than yours.
Not to pile on but they look like my black krim. YUM!
I want to grow some this coming spring. What are some tips to be successful?
Looks just like the brown sugars we grew this year
