Not totally sold on the name – ‘Freedom Breakfast’ – but definitely sold on the price, £2.99 (plus 51p for an additional hash brown)
Two perfectly runny fried eggs, proper flavour in the mushrooms, crunchy hash browns. Bacon decent.
I think the quality of a Wetherspoons’ kitchen is reflected in the attention they give breakfast tomatoes. These were reasonable, a bit more colour would be appreciated. But this was my first time at this establishment, so we’ll see how things average out.
Either way, can’t go wrong for £2.99 (+ 51p)
