Greenhouse we’re gonna check out my last watermelon of 2023 baby look at that oh man so that’s a watermelon plant I had one plant left back and a seven gallon container pruning it baby and hopefully it will survive I hand pollinate it myself so I could definitely see growing process but um the wet is chilly outside watermelon is better to grow above 75 degrees at least so we’re gonna keep our finger crossed and hopefully this plant will make it in the greenhouse because the greenhouse is much warmer than outside

  1. I have golden honey dew and cantaloupes planted in June and now with the cooler weather they just get sweeter. But it's still hot where I'm at it doesn't get chilly till nov or dec

  2. Where do you find these baskets? They’re perfect for melons.
Next spring, I’m going to give growing melons a try. I have an area all ready for them.
I live in the PNW, growing zone 8b. Right now I have Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Red Kale and a variety of herbs growing.
    My squash is still producing!

  3. Fill that container with compost for Pete's sake!!! Huge plant needs all the root room you can give it. Many grand blessings everyone everywhere.

  4. 5-6 weeks. I'll have enough time if I cover my one little one and the larger one. Worth a try. I wonder if I got rid of my old electric blanket. I have an electrical plug outside near the large bucket. GreenT. We had problems with the leaves early on. The small one is growing. Bush Sugar Baby. Zone 6b.
