My crock pot birria is almost completely done cooking (I posted about me making it this morning) it’s almost time for my fiance to come home so we can eat (I’m making birria pupusas tonight. And the smell is just heavenly! I sneaked a forkful or two of the birria meat and it’s so tender!!!!

I don’t have a blender so I had to buy some EZ Bombs Birria bombs I’ve used before. But I just added a few extra ingredients like a small diced white onion, 2 teaspoons of beef bouillon, 3 bay leaves, 3 chopped garlic cloves, and 2 birria bombs to 4 cups of water and 2 1/2-3 pounds of chuck roast. Slow cooked on low for 8-9 hours! (If you have work I recommend making this in the morning and it’ll be ready by dinner time. Or if you want it for breakfast. Pop it in the slow cooker before bed and it’ll be ready by morning when you wake up.)

The whole apartment smells sooooo gooooddd!!! 😭 I’m going to have to ask my mom for her birria recipe when I get a blender but this recipe hits SO CLOSE TO HOME!!!!
