The owners of La Ville Lumiere will open Le Marché Clifton, a French marketplace, next door to the Clifton Boulevard restaurant. Alex Darus
CLEVELAND, Ohio — A new French market is coming to Cleveland’s West Side, from the same folks who opened La Ville Lumiere brasserie last year.
Le Marché Clifton will be a marketplace next to La Ville, 10427 Clifton Blvd. It will offer gourmet cheeses, cured meats, made-to-order crepes and French café drinks like hot chocolate and coffee. Seasonal sandwiches, small gifts and fresh flowers will also be a part of the shopping experience.
Le Marché Clifton teased on social media that it will open its doors soon. Follow the market on Instagram at @lmc.cle for updates.
Chef Kevin O’Connell opened La Ville Lumiere as a haven for French cuisine, wine and cocktails in Cleveland in the former space of the Clifton Martini Bar. LVL added a patio this summer, joining popular offerings such as its twice-daily happy hour menu.
