Made the trek to Leslieville for Polish comfort food at Hastings Snack Bar. Love the old school diner vibes. Today I went with my usual order of Hungry Tata’s Lunch ($27) which comes with a bit of everything (and with tata actually behind the counter): a cabbage roll, kielbasa, sauerkraut, and pierogis. The cheddar filled pierogis aren’t quite as good as at Cafe Polonez way on the other side of town. But their cabbage rolls are amazingly tender and light. The only regret is not having any room left for paczki.
