I’ve just barely dipped my toes in the sushi world so give me some grace, haha. I got some admittedly pretty cheap sashimi—chef’s choice—and mainly wondering what the one on the far right is. 90% sure the one on the far left is tuna also, and of course the salmon is pretty obvious.
Thanks!

Kinda the holy trinity here – tuna, salmon and yellowtail (a type of tuna). The yellowtail looks particularly good here/
I’m no expert, but I believe this is (left to right): bluefin tuna, salmon, yellowtail (not tuna, often confused with yellowfin tuna)
Thanks guys, much appreciated! I was also a bit confused with the yellowfin/yellowtail distinction so that’s good to know!
none of those are peanut butter or any type of tree nut
As others have stated. Left is Tuna, likely Yellowfin. Middle is Salmon. Right is Yellowtail. ALOT of people believe that Yellowtail is a Tuna. It is actually a part of the Jack family, (Like Amberjack). All 3 have different cuts such as upper loin, lower loin, belly, ribs (usually used for spicy rolls), etc…
I see in your yellowtail or jack, they left a lot of the blooodline in. In some Asian cultures this is preferred. In Western culture the bloodline is usually cut away as it is very irony and fishy.
