Blessing of the stone crab fleet 2025 in Everglades City, Florida

The annual blessing of the stone crab fleet took place Sept. 27, 2025, at Camellia Street Grill in Everglades City. Stone crab season begins Oct. 15.

Happy fall! The Naples dining scene is celebrating the season with new specials and menu items, from staple chain restaurants to local wine bars.

Plus, we’ve got the details on a couple of new restaurants that are slated to open this fall in town, including the newest Tulia restaurant from Chef Vincenzo Betulia.

Sneak peek at Tulia Italian Steak

Betulia has completely reimagined the familiar restaurant space on Fifth Avenue South as Tulia Italian Steak, a fresh, yet classic, steakhouse that promises the same warmth and authenticity as his other Tulia restaurants. But expect a moodier atmosphere that sets it apart from Betulia’s other ventures.

Tulia Italian Steak is slated to open within the next few weeks, so keep an eye out. You’ll want to book a table as soon as you can.

“This is a much more sophisticated environment,” designer Debra Lee Yelner said. “We wanted it to feel like a vintage steakhouse from the ’50s and ’60s.”

Don’t worry, diners won’t need a suit and tie to enter Tulia Italian Steak. The Tulia team wants the new restaurant to be a place locals feel welcome to dine at any time ― not just on birthdays and anniversaries.

“It’s elegant, but not stuffy,” Betulia said. “I don’t need to open a fine dining restaurant. I never will. I don’t want people to get this misconception that Tulia Italian Steak is a fine dining restaurant.”
