New Italian restaurant opens this week in Wayne County

Experience new, traditional dishes at Dolce V Cucina Italiana

WOODHAVEN, Mich. – Residents living downriver are getting ready to welcome an Italian restaurant that’s been more than a year in the making.

Dolce V Cucina Italiana is opening Thursday, Oct. 16 in Woodhaven. Vince Cangialosi and his family operated the former Dolce Vita Ristorante on Fort St. in Riverview and the Dolce Vita Grill in Monroe. The family also operated Dolce Vita restaurants in Florida.

Guests can expect some of the traditional dishes served at La Dolce Vita Ristorante in Riverview. The menu includes chicken, pasta and seafood dishes, plus some new dishes including rice balls.

With seating for about 75 total, the restaurant will be open for dinner Tuesday-Saturday. Doors open at 5 p.m. Oct. 16 at 16075 West Rd. in Woodhaven.
