Thank you for your picture post to r/souvide. We want to remind everyone of Rule #5. Posts should be accompanied by something to foster discussion. A comment, a question, etc is encouraged.
If you’ve posted a picture of something you’ve prepared, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn’t really fostering any discussion which is what we’re all aiming for.
Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.

need to work on that sear (if a good sear is desired). grill-marks do not equal a sear.
if on charcoal; pile up the charcoal on one side. get the coal red hot and filp more often.. no flames on the steak – just heat. if that is propane … need more heat. if that all she’s got try a cast iron preheated to 400* then on a burner to sear

This came out really nice. It was medium rare. I heated the grill for 20 minutes and sprayed some avocado oil on it. Flipped the steaks every thirty seconds to get the nice grill marks. What do you think?
