  1. Château Pradeaux Bandol Rosé 2023

Dark copper in color with a golden hue.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing cherries, sweet strawberries, apples, currants, herbs, earth and light vegetables.

    Nice finish with impressive length.

This is a delicious Rosé from Bandol. Fruit forward and nicely balanced. Complex, easy drinking and interesting.

A great sipping wine. Really fun to drink, and what a great color.

Very approachable right now and drinking much better than their ‘Vespree’ Rosé.

    Wine Spectator 91 points.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.

Good by itself or with food.

A blend of 70% Mourvedre, 25% Cinsault and 5% Grenache.

    13.5% alcohol by volume.

    92 points.

    $35.

Looks like a Tavel rather than a Bandol.
    Still, Pradeaux is top notch.

I just had a bottle of the 2024, and it’s a similar distinctive salmon like color, seems a bit darker than the Tempier. Really nice easy drinking wine. Good choice!

This is the classical style for Bandol in terms of color. Even Tempier has moved much lighter over the last decade but it used to look like this. Pradeaux is exceptional, committed to the old style and they age incredibly well.
