ingredients:
1 red onion
1 can of beans
1 small can of whatever fish you like this is just a 50g tuna can, usually they are like 150g
2 oz/60g of triple concentrated tomato purée … or you can use 1 cup of regular puréed tomatoes
olive oil or butter or whatever oil you wanna use
2 durum wraps
optional sriracha sauce

tipps:

the biggest mistake i noticed when handling tomato puree or any type of tomatos is heat … just abit to much heat and you ruin the entire flavor of tomatos while using it sparingly over long time or short in burst can enhance it if used correctly

steps
put the can of beans into a regular pot, put in some water enough to cover all the beans. be careful this is for canned beans, not dried beans. this cook time is not enough for dried beans to not be toxic anymore …

cut the onion into small cubes, put them on mediumhigh heat on your stove and let them cook. i usually dry cook them in the pan. you want to add the following sauce after they have cooked 5 min in your pan.

sauce
grab a bowl and the triple tomato purée. put in the 2 oz or cup of tomato purée, then pour 4 tablespoons of water (only if you use the triple concentrated one use water. if you use the regular one, don’t use water), 1 tablespoon of oil or melted butter, half a teaspoon salt, a bit of garlic, and whichever spices you like. mix that with a whisk. if it’s too runny, pour in a pinch of extra triple tomato purée. it should have the thickness of yogurt.

after the onions have cooked for 5 mins, pour in your tomato sauce in the onion pan, stir it a bit, and turn the heat down to medium-low. we wanna let this simmer to not boil away all the flavor.

after another 2–3 mins and the sauce reduced a bit, drain your beans in the sink don’t worry if they are a bit watery, that’s good to moisture up the sauce again. pour them into the sauce onion pan together with your can of fish, mix again, and let them cook for another 3 mins at medium-high heat and pull it off the stove.

assemble your wrap, pour on top sriracha if you have some 🙂 this cost me less than 2 bucks and took just about 15 mins. it was delicious and filled me up for a long time. i posted similar recipe like this before but i keep slightly altering this type of recipe to make it more delicious more cheap more adaptable and filling. enjoy

Using the beans there’s no reason you even need the tuna could make this even cheaper without it
