


Crying Tiger Steak, Sticky rice (used jasmine rice), spicy cucumber salad, napa cabbage, and nam jim jaew! First time making this and it was delicious. The sauce was a flavor bomb.
Steaks were NY strip (left) and denver steak (right) from a local butcher. I marinated them about 30 minutes before cooking on the cast iron at the highest heat on my gas stove with beef tallow. Flipping until I got the crust desired stopping at ~100 deg, then finished in oven at ~500 degrees until ~125.

Love to see some Asian recipes on here. It bothers me when people say, “All you need is salt. Anything else ruins it”. So many ways to enjoy steak, and this is a great one.
