Yesterday I mixed my dough and then did 3 stretch and folds, and then left my apartment for 3 hours, when I got home I remembered that I had wanted to try out this sprinkle mix in, and since it was cold and my dough was nowhere near done with BF I decided to just experiment and try adding in the sprinkles (and vanilla extract 🤦‍♀️) in the middle of BF and do a whole new set of stretch and folds to mix things in, initially the vanilla made a gross soupy mess and I thought I was toast. I let it rest for another 4 hours and then did normal shaping process (I pre shaped, let it rest, shaped, let it rest, did a final stitching because it wasn’t holding before, and then fridge) and threw it in the fridge. I was worried about the mid-BF stretch and folds but I’m pretty happy with the end result!

Ingredients:
450g bread flour
320g water
10g salt
100g starter
1tbsp vanilla extract
50ish g sprinkles
