CHARLESTON, S.C. (September 11, 2025) — Charlestowne Hotels, a leading hospitality management company with an award-winning portfolio of independent, collegiate, soft-branded, and condo-hotels, announces the appointment of Tom Roman as Vice President of Food & Beverage. In this role, Roman will lead the strategic vision and innovation of Charlestowne’s culinary and beverage programs, ensuring thoughtful execution, uncompromising quality, and strong financial performance across the company’s growing portfolio of 40+ restaurant and bar concepts.

Roman brings more than 20 years of leadership experience shaping food and beverage programs for independent hotels and lifestyle brands to his new role. Most recently, he led Food & Beverage operations for Life House / Lark Hospitality, guiding a diverse portfolio of hotels spanning 10 states and Mexico. He has also held senior leadership positions with Castlerock Asset Management, Public Hotels, and Tao Group. During his career, Roman has led large teams, launched new venues, streamlined operations, and consistently delivered memorable guest experiences alongside strong financial results.

As Vice President, Roman will work closely with property teams and hotel owners to create distinctive culinary identities that reflect the individuality of Charlestowne’s 60+ properties, while also leading initiatives to improve restaurant efficiency and maximize profitability.
