Today we’re going to make this nutritious, colorful Mediterranean tuna salad. Look at this. Beautiful, packed with color, nutrients, tons of protein. For a little added kick, you can do a little red pepper flakes. And you could serve this on bread, pa, bed of lettuce, or try it by itself. [Music] To get started on making our Mediterranean tuna fish salad, we have tuna. Canned tuna. Drain it. It’s all ready. We’re going to add that to the bowl. Then I have chickpeas. Drain the chickpeas. They’re just from a can. Drain them. Add them. Next, we have a half a cup of cherry tomatoes. I’m going to put them cut them in half. Add them right to our salad. Next, we have our cucumber. So, we’re going to do we’re going to dice the cucumber. And we’re going to do a half a cup of cucumber. Half a cup of cucumber. Right to our bowl. Leave this set aside. We’ve galamata olives. So, I have these. These have no pit in them. About a four of a cup. Just going to slice them a little. Perfect. Right to the bowl. Then we have red onion. So, we only need about 2 tablespoons of red onion. I’m going to clean this. So, measure that out. Two tablespoons. Perfect. And then we need fresh parsley. So, we’re going to chop up couple tablespoons of fresh parsley. Very colorful salad, which means it’s full of nutrients, packed with protein, and delicious. And what would a Mediterranean salad be without feta? We have to add some feta there. So, crumbled feta cheese. Look at that. It’s already looking so beautiful and colorful. So, now our dressing. So, we’re going to take our dressing, olive oil, lemon juice. So, we have fresh lemon. Squeeze that in. Perfect. salt, pepper, and oregano. Measure this out. And we’re going to do dried oregano. [Music] Whisk this together. Pour that right on top. Give this nice toss. Mix this all up. tuna and the veggies. I’m not a big mayonnaise fan, so this has always been my go-to when I make tuna fish.
