  1. I love it. If it checks the box for you I recommend the Belizean Heat as well. Can’t go wrong with Marie’s

It’s a solid sauce, but definitely overhyped on this sub at the $8 price point. I enjoyed Belizean heat more, though I probably would have liked them more if my expectations weren’t set sky high…

  3. I don’t know if it’s the best habanero sauce, but it’s pretty darn close!

  4. BlazeBitch

It’s okayyy. I wasn’t getting much flavor, just kick, which isn’t really my vibe.

Love this and the green habanero one with cactus

  6. Love flavorful hot sauces vs the burn. Fell for Marie Sharps ever since my first trip to Belize in 1995

Try their smoked habanero. It’s my current favorite

Suzies used to be my favorite but idk if you can still get it. It was from Antigua

  9. therightpedal

Yup, that’s my favorite too. Right alongside my new #1 the Garlic Pepper Habanero one. Same thing, just more garlic.

The world would be a better place if every diner stocked this sauce.

It’s really good. My go-tos are the Beware and the Belizean Heat, but this one is an excellent stand-in for those.

  12. JayyyyyBoogie

I recently got the Marie’s smoked habanero sauce and it’s delicious.

My favorite commercial hot sauce and it inspired me to make my own. Marie Sharp’s literally changed my life when I first tried it about 25 years ago.

I’m a fan for sure. Excellent on rice and peas and some grilled or fried fish

  15. iMugBabies

This and Belizean Heat are AMAZING on a tuna sandwich.

  16. ZogemWho

It’s solid if you a have a habanero preference. Belizean Heat steps it up, ‘Beware” more-so.

  17. Pilot-Imperialis

Not particularly hot but absolutely delicious

Might be the best all purpose hot sauce of all time. An incredible daily driver.

  19. I really like the taste of it. Fruity and crisp. It also has a bit of a kick. Good with sloppy joes and tacos.

One of the most delicious sauces I’ve ever tried and I tried a lot of sauces.

  21. sparklieshrapnel

Tasty but borderline too hot for me

  22. EcstaticStock499

An essential hot sauce. One of the all time greats. The woman behind this company – Marie Sharp haha – is an absolute badass/fantastic human being as well.

The original is good, it is quite salty tho.

I recommend trying the green one, “green habanero nopal prickly pear”. It’s incredible. As is the grapefruit habanero sauce, that one is so good on fish!

Discovered it on my one trip to Belize 20 years ago. Amazing on so much. Put it on my eggs every day of that trip.

  24. Maleficent-Smoke1981

Near perfect red hab hot sauce.

  25. barspoonbill

The extra hot is the absolute best buffalo wing sauce hands down. Fight me.

  26. Lockethegenius

I’ve loved this sauce for quite awhile now. Not a major heat level, but does let you know it’s a habenero pepper sauce. What I like particularly is the subtle vinegared carrot flavor that isn’t overshadowed by just the taste of the peppers. A great pantry sauce to grab for cold pizza or leftover mexican fast food.

  27. One of my favourites for sure, I almost always have some on-hand. Reminds me that I need to order a few more bottles of this and the green nopal. Both of these are more or less every day sauces for me.

I live in Sweden, and was not able to find them here until a few years ago. Before that, I would bring back a box of bottles on trips back to the US or ask a friend to ship me some. Thankful that I can find it easily here now.

It’s a go to since I was introduced only 4-5 years ago. I like that it has good habanero flavor, but it isn’t crazy hot.
