Katz’s Deli at the back of the liquor store makes classic sandwiches using R. C. Provisions pastrami. We know Langer’s and Daughter’s Deli do also. Any other spots you know that use it? Is that where pastrami for Irv’s Burgers comes from too?

They may use the same seller, but if they don’t finish it in store the right way, it still could suck. Also RC has a couple of options of types of pastrami they sell.
Was so confused when you said Katz’s, lol. Guess they just opened out of the back of this Burbank liquor store. Eagerly awaiting someone making a review post comparing the New York Katz’s with this (completely unrelated) one. Article below says that the famous Katz’s has even sued other places using their name in the past, but that was in New York and not LA.

As for other places that use RC Provisions, I know there are a ton but Cofax for sure uses it for their pastrami breakfast burrito.

Ugh just seeing the Ribs USA sign pisses me off I don’t know if there’s ever been a restaurant that disappointed me more. Interested in Katz tho!

FWIW Langer’s has its own recipe that RC Provision fulfills for them. All of these places aren’t serving the same exact pastrami.

SF’s Wise Sons and Deli Board also use them. Locally, a ton of local spots, as already listed here.
I spoke to the owner and he talked about steaming it for multiple days (I think? I don’t know much about Pastrami prep, lol). The Pastrami at Katz’ was crazy good – melt in mouth, and hand carved. I wish the bread was a bit more substantial, but that’s my only criticism. Really great sandwich!
RC also makes the chili for many spots as well.
Yes this deli is in Burbank inside the Liquor at 2713 W Olive Ave (think Ribs USA and Poquito Mas vacinity)
Dodger stadium also uses them
