Did some ribs and threw them in the left corner. They seemed to be cooling fast but I kinda shrugged it off. They were very overcooked when I pulled them so I decided to do a “biscuit” test with some white bread. $3 lasted and sure enough that’s the hottest spot on my smoker. It’s a Recteq backyard best 1200. Not sure why it’s so much hotter on that one side but now I know.
